The series "Fav(orite)-spot" was created after our customers often sent feedback and travel reports to us. So everyone can read where its most beautiful and maybe visit one or the other place.
Towards the sun
Spontaneous travel - that is something that has almost been lost since the pandemic. All the nicer that we as a family were able to experience it again recently.
We were on ski vacation in the sunny French Alps. Coming from Berlin, this is quite a long way. After 5 sunny days on the slopes, the navigation system gave us two suggestions: Berlin 11 hours - Marseille 5 hours. In February, a spontaneous trip to the Mediterranean Sea and some more sun? That was too tempting. So we simply turned south.
But finding a nice authentic accommodation in the off-season spontaneously is not always easy. The easiest thing to do is to have the accommodation with you and indeed, we came across like-minded people in Marseille, who were traveling with a rented camper.
Lacking our own camper, we logged on to ShareMyProp and spontaneously booked our friends' vacation home by the sea in Marseille. We spent three days by the sea with gorgeous sunsets. Marseille in winter, that means up to 16 degrees Celcius in the daytime and lots of sun. And the water still has fabulous 15 degrees. Here you can check out the average temperatures for Marseille.
